Photography Policy

Second Harvest’s Photography Policy – Updated January 2018

Photography and Recordings: No photography or recording of any kind is allowed on any Second Harvest of South Georgia (SHSG) campus, within any SHSG vehicle, or at any SHSG off-campus event without express written permission of the CEO, CMO, or COO.

Additionally, visitors to any SHSG campus (including but not limited to media, vendors, and inspectors) must be accompanied by a SHSG staff member at all times.  Designated partner agency shoppers, community service workers, and volunteers may be exempted from this requirement as deemed necessary by the ranking staff member on site.

At events such as volunteer events, written notice will be posted if photography and recordings are allowed for the limited duration of that event.

Consent to Photography and/or Recordings:  Photography, video recordings, and audio recordings occur frequently as part of operations at Second Harvest. 

By entering the premises including on and off-site events events, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by Second Harvest of South Georgia and its affiliates and representatives. Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote SHSG in the future. You release SHSG, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings.

By entering the premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by SHSG or the person or entity designated to do so by SHSG.

You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the premises.
