This information can include an individual’s opinions or beliefs, as well as facts about, or related to, the individual. We do not consider the following to be personal information: business contact information, readily available public information (such as that printed in a telephone directory), acknowledgement of a gift in a donor category, or home contact information provided as business contact information. Donors are offered the opportunity to make contributions anonymously.
Any personal information which is shared with or gathered by Second Harvest will be carefully protected, and it is our policy to never sell, rent exchange or in any way share personal information to third parties, except as is required to accomplish the work of Second Harvest of South Georgia. Our personnel are authorized to access personal information only based on their need to deal with the information for the reason(s) for which it was obtained. We collect, use, and disclose personal information only for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in light of the circumstances. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise share our mailing lists.
