Summer Meals

Summer should be a time for fun, not hunger. But for many families, the summer months can bring added stress as school meals are no longer available and grocery budgets are stretched thin. That’s why Second Harvest of South Georgia, in partnership with Happy Helpings and the United States Department of Agriculture, is proud to offer our Summer Feeding Program.

Free Summer Meals for Children

Throughout the summer, we provide free nutritious meals and snacks to children across South Georgia to help ensure every child has access to the food they need to grow, learn, and thrive.

No Registration Required

There is no application or sign-up process. Children can simply visit a participating meal site during designated meal times to receive a free meal.
